How many of you are members of the NRA?

I am and I'm very proud to be a member. The NRA is one of the best organizations out there defending our gun and hunting rights. There are a lot of other great groups out there defending our hunting rights such as the USSA, Hunters Against PETA, SFW, Big Game Forever, Save Western Wildlife, SCI, Dallas Safari Club. We support all of these groups as well.

The NRA however is the biggest and strongest organization out there right now. They've also been around since 1871 and was founded by some retired Union Army officers.

I can't imagine not supporting the NRA if you're a sportsmen, hunter or a gun owner. I heard Ted Nugent talk at a hunting expo at the beginning of this year that hit home to me. Ted said if you're not a member of the NRA then by default you're supporting the anti-gun activists.

We as hunters, sportsmen and gun owners owe it to ourselves and our future children to support the NRA and other groups that are out there defending our gun and hunting rights.

I encourage every hunter to go and sign up with the NRA. The anti's are increasing and are getting stronger every day. This is something that needs to be taken seriously. They also have a great hunting magazine that is full of great information. Hunting and gun rights related. Important information that all sportsmen should know.
